SHOULD I WEAR MAKEUP TO MY APPOINTMENT?
If you'd like Jordan to see how you pencil / powder / draw your brows on a daily basis then feel free to come to your appointment with makeup on. If you're comfortable with Jordans decision in mapping the brows, then please come with no makeup over the area - This allows numbing to be applied straight onto the skin at the beginning of the appointment.

POST CARE
Please note your skin will be temporarily sensitive after the procedure and you should adhere to the following instructions for the next 10 days. This will help avoid infection and allow time for the skin to recover. Please be patient with your healing process; It varies from client to client and it is perfectly normal for small scabbing to appear on the treated area(s). These should be allowed to fall of naturally over a period of a few days.

WHAT IS NORMAL?
Immediately after your treatment you may experience Itching, scabbing, flaking, swelling and redness. After your treatment you may experience colour loss, fading, patchiness and tenderness.
PLEASE AVOID THE FOLLOWING:

-
GETTING THE TREATED AREA WET for 1 week
-
Touching the treated area(s) for 1 week other than to apply healing balm with clean hands
-
Using soaps, cleansers, creams or make up on the treated area(s) for 10 days
-
Facial treatments such as eyelash or eyebrow tinting, plucking, electrolysis etc. No facials, Botox or chemical peels for 4 weeks.
-
Any abrasive materials such as rough towels or similar. If small scabs appear on the treated area(s), DO NOT TOUCH THEM. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Picking or itching can cause scaring or loss of colour.
-
Taking hot baths, saunas or other heat treatments for 10 days
-
Sunbathing, using Sunbeds for 2 weeks post treatment
-
Swimming. Keep out of chlorinated water for 2 weeks
-
Using any form of bleach or depilatory products for 2 weeks post treatment
-
Do not give blood for 4 months – Please inform the national blood service that you have had permanent cosmetics.
-
Don’t sleep on your face for the first week and use a clean pillowcase.
Do not use Vaseline or similar types of ointments or balms to the treated area. You will be given an aftercare pack at the end of your first treatment. Avoid make up for a week after treatment. We advise to use mineral based makeup if any. Avoid the use of moisturisers that contain glycolic acid in, as these can fade permanent makeup. Always use SPF 15 or higher in the sun and keep your treatment area out of direct sunlight.

WHEN TO APPLY AFTERCARE PRODUCT?
To be applied 6 hours post procedure and applied twice daily for up to 28 days. This 6-hour window allows the wound time to primarily close with no interference of any foreign molecules and doesn't hinder its natural process of repair. This allows the tissue to breathe and close as well as helping lock in pigment.

HOW TO APPLY AFTERCARE :
Be sure to wash your hands before each application of your aftercare product. Tear off the top of the pouch and squeeze a small amount of microbalm onto a clean finger. Gently smooth over the area until it's fully covered.

The pouch should last you 28 days, by this time you'll be due back in for your touch up procedure and you'll be given another fresh pouch to carry out exactly the same healing process as the first treatment.

If you have any further questions about the healing & aftercare process please contact Jordan personally via email.
